We help all ages and stages with a range of physical and emotional difficulties, based in Blockhouse Bay, Auckland. General Medical Consultations
We have 5 full time general practitioners, 4 of whom are fellows of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners. Our team of doctors are committed to providing high quality and comprehensive medical care to our patients. We deal with adult medical and surgical problems, children’s health, women’s health issues and accident and emergency care, while maintaining a focus on prevention with a holistic view of the individual. Our nurses also run Cardiovascular risk assessment clinics as well as Diabetic and Sexual health clinics. For a Cardiovascular risk assessment or a free Diabetes check please make an appointment with your Doctor’s Nurse.
Minor Surgery and Skin Cancer Checks
We provide free spot checks and minor surgical services for skin cancers and small lumps. The surgeries are performed on-site by GPs who are trained in this field.
Immunisations / Vaccinations
We provide flu vaccinations, including H1N1 and travel vaccinations for all age groups according to the appropriate protocol. We also provide covid immunisations. For travel vaccines and advice please make an appointment with your doctor first.
Well child check
For our under 6 year olds we provide developmental assessment, oral health care and medical care, as well as ongoing support. For further advice contact your Nurse.
Women’s health / Cervical Smears / Menopause
Our female GPs and a number of our nurses are trained in taking cervical smears and sexual health care, to provide full comprehensive healthcare for women. We have Drs who specialise in women’s health and family planning, and we also provide support and care for women going through menopause.
Childhood Immunisations
We have fully trained and certified nurses providing immunisations and also cervical cancer vaccination for the young female population (Gardasil). Please talk to our nurse for expert advice on immunizations and also about catch-up vaccinations.
Accident Care
We deal with all accidents, major and minor fractures and any appropriate follow-up.
Liquid Nitrogen
We provide treatment for warts and minor skin cancers with liquid nitrogen.
Well Man and Well Woman checks
We as a practice believe prevention is better than cure, so all of our GPs are available to conduct well man or well woman checks. We are proactive about screening for prostate, breast and cervical cancer because early detection results in better outcomes for patients. Early detection and Preventive Healthcare leads to Good Health and Wellness.
